Renowned black metal outfit, turned mysterious “doomgrass” precentor Xasthur, has released a studio sessions EP titled Aestas Pretium MMXVIII, through their new label Prophecy Productions. Previously only available physically on the road during the band’s recent month long tour with Wino and Six Organs Of Admittance, the Aestas Pretium MMXVIII EP is now available to all, at digital streaming services.

Following that Festival appearance, Scott Conner, Chris Hernandez and Rachel Roomian (today known as Xasthur) will enter the studio in October to professionally record their first full-length together, as well as the first of many albums with Prophecy Productions.
Additionally, Xasthur are confirmed to perform at Prophecy Productions’ inaugural Prophecy Fest USA in Brooklyn, NY at Knitting Factory at 8PM on November 2nd.
