Not many people would think that a Nomadic Folk Metal band would come from China but Tengger Cavalry does. Formed only a few years ago in 2010, the group already has five full lengths and quite a strong following. The band is mostly influenced by Mongolian cultures and shamanism, but musically they also incorporate elements from Kazakh and Turkish nomadic folk music. They are truly a sound that only ears can experience rather than reading about them so here’s a track from their new album Ancient Call.
