Death metal outfit Zeolite have announced the departure of the their drummer, Elias Kalaitzakais. Kalaitzakais has reportedly decided to depart the the project on his own accord, however the statement from the band did not provide any reason. The band has tapped Mason Page (Splatterpuss, Mother Morgue) for their upcoming shows. You can read the statement in full below:
“It’s with great sadness that we announce that Eli has decided to step aside from drumming for Zeolite. We’d like to thank him publicly for all of his work with the band,and being able to consistently blast at 300 bpm night after night.
We wish him all the best with his future endeavors.
For all of our upcoming shows, the original forearm of doom, Mason of
I Exalt/Splatterpuss/Mother Morgue will be joining us.
Catch him blasting through the set in November when we tour with Vulvodynia/To The Grave/Wraith.”
