Papa Emeritus is set to reprise his role as Ghost’s vocalist on their next album, according to Tobias Forge. In an interview with Kerrang, Forge had the following to say:
“I just know that [the singer on the next Ghost album] will have the name Papa Emeritus IV. It will be the fourth Papa Emeritus. But who that is, we don’t know yet,”
Papa Emeritus didn’t appear on Ghost’s last album, “Prequelle”, instead replaced by Cardinal Copia (both roles were performed by Forge). No current status on the new album was given.
