27 Dead, 180 Injured After Metal Gig In Bucharest Catches Fire

Some saddening news has come about in the metal music community as well as world news. Reports state that over 27 have died and around 180 injured at a concert in Romania when a horrendous fire broke out.

400, mostly teenage, concert goers were at the Colectiv Club in Bucharest Friday night to see local metal band Goodbye To Gravity, when a fire broke out, allegedly from pyrotechnics that were part of the show.

The fireworks quickly spread throughout the club, reports say, with many fans unaware the fire was out of control, believing it to simply be apart of the show, before it was too late, causing a rush for the single door to get out, which quickly became blocked.

Our hearts go out to all the families and friends of the victims in this tragic event.
