IN FLAMES Cancel Nancy Show After Paris Terrorist Attacks

Swedish melodic death metallers In Flames have cancelled their show in Nancy, France in the wake of the tragedy in Paris. After the terror acts at Le Bataclan during an Eagles Of Death Metal show as well as attacks in other locations, the band didn’t perform yesterday but will return today in Pratteln, Switzerland.
The group explained: “In the light of the absolutely horrific events in Paris last night, we have decided to cancel tonight’s show in Nancy. We will spend the day thinking of our friends, colleagues, fans and families that were affected. With respect, In Flames.”
Deftones were scheduled to play at Le Bataclan yesterday and for three nights in a row, and had been at the venue the day of the attack. In fact, some members of the band and crew were attending the Eagles Of Death Metal concert on Friday night, but left the venue 15 minutes before the terrorist attack began, fortunately for them.
