Interloper are about to embark on their first tour, supporting The Faceless next month, and the band have just announced who will be singing for them for their debut trek. Mike Semesky (ex-Intervals, ex-The Harp Machine) will join the band, with current vocalist Cody Lumpkin stepping down.
The official announcement reads as follows:
“We are pleased to announce that Mike Semesky (ex Intervals/The Haarp Machine) will now be joining Interloper as our new vocalist. We have a lot coming for you all, including a new music video single being released this Thursday (10/25), upcoming tours, new merch, and a full length record in the process. It has taken a long time to get this all ready and we have spent countless hours doing everything to make this transition into a full time band as smooth as possible.
In regards to our previous singer, Cody Lumpkin – As some of you may know, Cody is a Father. With our transition from a part-time project to a touring band, he has decided to step down from Interloper in order to focus on being around for his daughter during some of the most important years of her life. Cody is one of our best friends, and we couldn’t be happier for him and this decision to play the role he was meant to in his family’s life. You may even see him in the new music video. 👀
We cannot thank all of our fans enough for the incredible amount of patience it has taken to wait for this to all begin. We couldn’t be more ready and as excited as we are right now.
The wait is finally over and it is time to get this show on the road. New music video on Thursday (10/25), heading out on tour November 29th, and more to be announced soon!”
