Hate Eternal have embarked on a North American tour with Cannibal Corpse and Harm’s Way, and the band has announced that drum duties will be handled by Origin Drummer John Longstreth.
The reasoning isn’t entirely clear for the temporary lineup change, as it’s only been said that Hannes Grossman has other commitments.
The official announcement from the Hate Eternal social media pages reads as follows:
To all our loyal fans and supporters, ��Drum duties on the upcoming Hate Eternal tour with Cannibal Corpse and Harm’s Way will be handled by John Longstreth of ORIGIN, as Hannes Grossman fulfills other commitments. Johnny is a long time friend of mine and one of the best drummers and people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. For 10+ years we have wanted to work together in some capacity and finally, after all these years, we have the opportunity to do so. Band practice for the last few weeks has been fantastic and the songs are sounding phenomenal! We have a massive set planned for you all and I am looking forward to getting out there on tour and supporting our new album “Upon Desolate Sands” – RUTAN”
