BOUND IN FEAR Lose Guitarist/Songwriter

Deathcore act Bound in Fear have announced that guitarist and songwriter, Keir Campbell, will be leaving the project. The band cites “personal issues” for his departure.

The band’s full statement, including Campbell’s statement, reads:

“It is with regret that we announce the departure of our guitarist and songwriter Keir Campbell. Due to some personal issues, Keir feels he can no longer commit to the band to a level that the band requires.

Bound In Fear will not be stopping without him, however, and within the next few weeks, we will have announcements to give.

His influence and inspiration is forefront in much of Bound In Fear’s sound and we do not undervalue or invalidate the hard work Keir has put into the project over the years. We’d like to thank him for this and wish him nothing but the best of luck in his future projects and endeavours. Read his statement below:

“It is with a heavy heart I must announce that I am stepping away from Bound In Fear.

For several years now, Bound In Fear has been a huge passion that I have poured my heart and soul into and I am incredibly proud of what the band has achieved and I will always look back fondly upon our memories and accomplishments together.

Sadly I have reached a point in my life where it has become too difficult for me to balance priorities with the band and personal life and adhere to the creative and professional visions that the rest of the band share.

I sincerely wish the band the best of luck and am confident that the new material the guys are putting together will continue to propel the band towards an increasingly successful career, but I can no longer be part of that journey.

To anyone who has supported me and the band, I am eternally grateful. Please continue to support the guys.”

We wish both the band and Campbell the best with their future endeavors.
