God Forsaken vocalist Mika Hankaniemi recently told The Metal Crypt that the band has been working on their long-awaited third studio album. The recently-reunited death doom metal act hasn’t released an album since The Tide Has Turned back in 1995. More details on their next record, including a possible release date, remain to be seen.
On the sound of the new album, he said:
“The new songs are kind of closer to the Dismal… album but in the end the material stands on its own. Doom is the main key word here.”
Mika also mentioned the possibility of shooting a video to support the record:
“We haven’t even talked about making a video yet. I think that we’re going to shoot it when the new album is released.”
