Guitarist and backing vocalist for Tyr, Terji Skibenæs, has announced he is leaving the band after 17 years. In a post on his Facebook, Terji states that “I have no desire whatsoever to play in TÝR anymore. There’s no drama or anything going on between me and the others. It’s just me not having any joy to play the music in the style of TÝR anymore,”.
His last show with the band will be Sabaton Open Air in August.
