Progressive death metal band Black Crown Initiate have been inactive for about two years, only hinting at new music a few months ago. We just reported on them confirming their first show in two years, and now it seems that new music is also on its way.
On their Facebook page, the band posted an image of their apparent current lineup, James Dorton (vocals), Andy Thomas (guitar, clean vocals), and Nick Shaw (bass), and the caption “We recorded music today. Happy Wednesday, friends! 🍻 #blackcrowninitiate”.
It also should be noted that the Facebook page only lists those three as the current lineup. I’m personally very happy to see them back, and we’ll be following the band and any news about them closely.
