So many of you may not be aware of the pure gold that is Hog Slammer, the one man DIY slamming death metal band fronted by Joe Randazza will surely satisfy your slam needs. Hog Slammer has just released their three track EP titled “Life On Death Row” part 1 of 2, and after taking a listen I have to say personally this is the type of slam I live for. For only being an 8 minute EP, I laughed, neck cranked, got the stank face, felt bass drops in my chest and above all else simply put I enjoyed the fuck out of this EP. ‘Crystal Methodist’ is the on track you cannot pass up it’s hilarious and brutal which is perfect. Solid release and I’m excited to see what’s in store for this project.
Hog Slammer hails from New Jersey and is part of High Potency Productions which is owned and operated by Joe himself, edited and recorded in house this is a complete DIY project, with plans to release a tape/vinyl for the 2 part ep and physical cd copies TBD don’t miss out on your chance to snag early day merch from this fresh project. The second part of the EP is in the works and should have news of a release date soon.
