HIGH ON FIRE Forced To Drop From Tour With MUNICIPAL WASTE

High on Fire and Municipal Waste were set to head out on a co-headline tour on Friday, however High on Fire have made the unfortunate announcement that they have been forced to drop from the tour. The reason given is an immediate medical procedure that Matt Pike needs, with recovery from the operation overlapping with the tour.
On their Facebook, High on Fire put out the following statement:
“ATTENTION:
High On Fire will not participate in the 2018 “Speed of the Wizard” tour sponsored by Revolver Magazine. The band had planned on co-headlining with Municipal Waste. The band has provided a statement:
“Matt has a medical emergency culminating in the partial amputation of one of his toes. The scheduling of this procedure is immediate and the recovery time will overlap our intended tour with Municipal Waste. We will unfortunately be unable to participate in this tour but will be back stronger than ever in 2019!”
The tour will continue as scheduled with
@municipalwaste @toxicholocaust_official and @hauntthenation”
