Melodic death metal band Hound of Hades have debuted their first song in nearly four years, titled “Crown of Crimson”. The song is currently available on the band’s YouTube channel, and will be made available on streaming platforms in about a week.
The band posted the following statement on their Facebook:
“Here it is! After four years since the Resurrection Trilogy, we are excited to release our new single, Crown of Crimson!
Once again, thank you for all the tremendous support and love we have received recently! We plan on bringing so much more after Crown. It’s only just begun!
We’re only going to have Crown on our YouTube channel (subscribe yo!) for a week or so before it becomes available on all platforms (Spotify, Google Play, iTunes, etc.)
We hope you enjoy this song! We worked very hard on it and we’re very proud of it. We’re looking forward to seeing what you all think about it as well!
Once again, thank you all! Click and get your face melted!”
The song is a straightforward melodeath track with a solid main riff, and strong, if a bit generic song structure. While it won’t set the world on fire, but it has multiple well executed solos, and this band is one that people should keep and eye on.
