OMINOUS RUIN – Amidst Voices That Echo In Stone

Imagine Nile and Inanimate Existence went to create a sadistic, misanthropic and cosmological style of technical brutal death metal from the Bay Area it be Ominous Ruin and their upcoming full-length album Amidst Voices That Echo In Stone being released through Willowtip Records. Musically, their style is technical, brutal and modernized arrangements of death metal, not only they’ve belonged to a latter of such neck-breaking pieces of extreme music, but rest assure this release feels natural, it doesn’t feel repetitive in a sense where each instrumentals and its own counterparts felt missing but each member contributed themselves to make complemented, Suffocation, Deeds Of Flesh and Condemned styled melodies and the production here is nothing but sharp, loud and in your face.
I don’t see many people discussing this band in terms of their musical style, compositions, lyricism, and I truly feel this record should not be overlooked as this is too quality technical brutal death metal at its finest hour. Tracks such as Labyrinthine Torment, Amidst Voices that Echo in Stone and Ritual takes the band to make diabolical, hatred, and chaotic style of death metal with a fair twist of 90’s influenced brutal death metal this is what Ominous Ruin created and it worked flawlessly. Amidst Voices That Echo In Stone is filled with blood pumping, adrenaline, and have tempered with crisped, assaulted, and structured to the deepest root of its core and fans of the technical brutal death metal genre should not pass this up.
