New Jersey’s death/thrash metal band Strychnia are easily one of the most accessible and impressive bands to be coming out in the extreme metal community. Into The Catacombs is the latest chapter that is self-released independently from the band. Musically, they taken their inspiration to write gory and paying homage to 90’s metal. From the hard hitting guitar solos, fast paced blast beats, and gut-wrenching screams to the frantic and technical musicianship these musicians have improved themselves not just in terms of songwriting and progression is concerned but this collection of music finely represents a nice caliber to a creative hybrid that’ll speak volumes hearing this album. From the well crafted songs to the pure mind-blowing skill that this band ties into the structure of their sound; they really bring a refreshing style to the table of modern metal that is very well needed in a long time. Into The Catacombs mixes death/thrash metal components that’ll satisfy any extreme metal fans for wanting a strategic and complex albums of 2018.
