CEREBRAL ROT – Excretion Of Mortality

Much like any other Pacific Northwest extreme metal bands, Cerebral Rot are a death metal band hailing all the way from my hometown in Seattle, Washington and this time around, they’ve created a monstrous, lurking and disgusting album with 2021’s latest offering, Excretion Of Mortality. While the band is often compared to Undergang, Fetid, Abhorrence and Demigod, Cerebral Rot takes their old twist for death metal and have created a vicious onslaught that’ll keep your head banging non stop. This record has original, filthy brutal sound and arguably one of the most polished, executed and crafted releases to ever come out so far in 2021.
From it’s translucent vocals, incredible lyrics and relenting mid-priced typical death metal speeds, it’s definitely heavier as tracks range a ensuring, unique and prominent interspersed significant improvements prior to their 2018 demo Cessation of Life. But things are a lot heavier, catchier and have such high replay value. From ground-breaking melodic, altered harmonics and minor scales provide catchy, sinister and complex structured production generally uses guttural, deep, gravitational roars and plucked overpowering instrumentals are crisp and energetic.
From its unforgiving, grotesque, depressing, gory and depict presentation of horror inflicted diseases and suffering tracks, the members from Cerebral Rot matches their deliverance, interlude verses, choruses and a expected old-school fashioned death metal goodness brought the genre something memorable. When thinking death metal from Obituary, Suffocation, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Possessed, Malevolent Creation and Hate Eternal, Cerebral Rot takes the toll and risen up to be a force reckoning with. Excretion Of Mortality is one of the sickest, most dirtiest and murky death metal albums that promises to satisfy and pleasure any old school death metal fans.
